From August 6 to 10, 2026, SASCO Youth participated in the 2026 Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign in Laos with numerous exchange, sharing, and welfare activities for children and workers.

The program was carried out upon the invitation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), under the direction and connection of the Youth Union of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), alongside the care and facilitation of SASCO's Board of Management.

A Journey of Connection and Sharing

Participating in the program, SASCO union members and youth had the opportunity to promote the spirit of initiative, responsibility, and youthful enthusiasm through practical volunteer activities in neighboring Laos.

Throughout the trip, the youth from various units visited and interacted with the Champasak Provincial Youth Union, contributing to enhanced solidarity and understanding between the youth of both countries.

The delegation also presented practical gifts to children in remote areas, while visiting, encouraging, and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of Vietnamese youth and workers employed at rubber projects on Laotian soil.

Contributing to Cultivating Vietnam – Laos Friendship

Although the material value of each presented gift was modest, it embodied the affection, responsibility, and sharing of the younger generation. These warm and practical activities helped spread the spirit of community volunteering while leaving many fond memories for the union members participating in the program.

Through this journey, SASCO Youth contributed to preserving and developing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos through concrete, sincere, and meaningful actions. The program also served as an opportunity for SASCO union members to train, mature, raise their sense of responsibility toward the community, and strengthen ties with the youth of partner units.

Embracing the spirit of "Travel to connect – Travel to share – Travel to spread," SASCO Youth continues to affirm its pioneering role, ready to dedicate itself and accompany community-oriented activities.
