SASCO ORGANIZES A SERIES OF ACTIVITIES TO COMMEMORATE THE 79TH ANNIVERSARY OF WAR INVALIDS AND MARTYRS’ DAY

In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), SASCO, in coordination with Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), local authorities, and units at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, organized a series of “Remembering Our Roots” and “Gratitude and Tribute” activities across Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Tay Ninh.

🌸 On July 21 and 23, SASCO representatives respectfully paid tribute and offered incense in remembrance of fallen heroes at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery. In coordination with Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s Immigration Police, the delegation also offered incense and flowers at memorial monuments in Le Thi Rieng Park, while visiting and presenting gifts to the team responsible for searching for and recovering the remains of fallen soldiers. The delegation also visited Thi Nghe Nursing Home, where they offered care, essential supplies, and support to people who had made contributions to the revolution and families of fallen soldiers receiving care at the center.

At the site where the remains of recently discovered fallen soldiers were placed at Le Thi Rieng Park, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung Cuong, SASCO General Director and Head of the SASCO delegation, offered incense as a solemn tribute and expressed his deepest respect and gratitude to the fallen heroes who bravely sacrificed their lives for the country.

The SASCO delegation offered flowers in remembrance of the late General Secretary Tran Phu and the fallen heroes at Le Thi Rieng Park.

On July 25, at the Memorial Site dedicated to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Fallen Heroes in Long Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province, SASCO and its partner organizations jointly provided medical examinations, health consultations, and free medication, while distributing 500 gift packages to policy beneficiary families, people with contributions to the country, and disadvantaged households.

In coordination with Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s Immigration Police, SASCO visited and presented gifts to people who made contributions to the revolution and families of fallen soldiers at Thi Nghe Nursing Home.

🌸 On July 27, SASCO’s youth representatives continued the tradition of gratitude by visiting, offering gifts, and providing financial support for the care of two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tan Tru, Tay Ninh Province—mothers who endured profound loss and sacrifice for the country’s independence and freedom.
