SASCO Ranks Among Vietnam’s Top 10 Companies with the Largest State Budget Contributions in 2026

According to VNTAX 2026 data, the 10 private companies in the aviation and logistics sectors with the highest actual state budget contributions during the 2025 fiscal year contributed a total of more than VND 4 trillion to the state budget, an increase of more than 53% compared with the previous year.
Notably, all 10 companies on the list recorded increases in their actual state budget contributions compared with 2024. Vietjet Air continued to lead with VND 1.8 trillion, up 57%, accounting for nearly 45% of the total actual contributions made by the Top 10.
Gemadept Group ranked second with VND 564 billion, up 27%. Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company ranked third with VND 360 billion, an increase of approximately 40%.
The three leading companies contributed a combined total of more than VND 2.7 trillion, equivalent to nearly 68% of the total actual state budget contributions of the entire list.
Aviation Sector Contributes Nearly VND 2.6 Trillion
Among the Top 10, five companies operate in aviation and related services, including Vietjet Air, Saigon Cargo Service Corporation (SCSC), Aviation Logistics Corporation (ALS), Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO), and Saigon Ground Services (SAGS).
The group’s total actual state budget contributions reached VND 2.574 trillion in 2025, an increase of more than 60% compared with 2024.
This growth took place as Vietnam’s aviation market continued to expand in both passenger and cargo volumes. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, total market-wide air transport volume in 2025 reached approximately 83.5 million passengers and 1.5 million tonnes of cargo, representing increases of 10.7% and 18.5%, respectively, compared with 2024.
Of this, international air transport accounted for approximately 46.6 million passengers, up 12.6%, and 1.3 million tonnes of cargo, up 22.6%. Meanwhile, domestic air transport reached approximately 36.9 million passengers, up 8.4%, while cargo volume stood at 226,800 tonnes, approximately unchanged from the previous year.
Vietjet was the only company among the Top 10 private companies in the aviation and logistics sectors with the largest state budget contributions in 2026 to contribute more than VND 1 trillion. The airline’s actual state budget contribution increased from VND 799 billion in 2023 to VND 1.15 trillion in 2024 and VND 1.809 trillion in 2025. Thus, over two years, Vietjet’s actual state budget contribution more than doubled.
In 2025, Vietjet operated nearly 153,000 flights and transported 28.2 million passengers, excluding Vietjet Thailand, of whom nearly 10 million were international passengers, an increase of 9% compared with 2024.
Other companies providing cargo and airport services also recorded strong growth in their state budget contributions.
SCSC ranked fourth overall with VND 234 billion, an increase of approximately 60% from VND 146 billion in 2024. ALS followed closely with VND 227 billion, more than double the VND 110 billion recorded the previous year.
SASCO’s actual state budget contribution was VND 161 billion, while SAG contributed VND 143 billion.
Thus, all five aviation companies in the Top 10 increased their actual state budget contributions in 2025, during the same period when passenger volumes, and particularly international air cargo volumes, increased compared with the previous year.
