SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH:

SASCO Recognized in the Top 10 Sustainable Development in Trade and Services Sector in 2023 at the Sustainable Business Awards Ceremony held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD-VCCI), SASCO was honored as one of the top 10 sustainable businesses in the trade and services sector in 2023.

We ensure that our production and consumption models are sustainable.

HEALTH & SAFETY: At SASCO, we place the highest priority on the physical and mental well-being of both our employees and customers. During the critical period of 2020–2021, as a frontline operator at an international airport, SASCO took swift and proactive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while maintaining and restoring business operations. Our efforts ensured a safe, reliable, and satisfying travel experience for every passenger.

Pioneering gender equality in workforce management, SASCO has become the first company in Vietnam, and the 26th globally, to receive the EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) MOVE certification from the Switzerland-based EDGE organization. This achievement not only positions SASCO on the global EDGE map but also acts as a catalyst for advancing women's economic empowerment in Vietnam.


SASCO, in partnership with the Vietnam Business Network for Women's Empowerment (VBCWE) and with technical support from Victoria University, is hosting the seminar 'Diversity Culture and Inclusive Leadership Skills – Key Foundations for Sustainable Development.

 

TACKLING HUNGER AND POVERTY

Beyond economic support, SASCO’s community initiatives are rooted in humanity and long-term sustainability, offering practical solutions that uplift lives across Vietnam.

 

POVERTY REDUCTION

Some of our flagship projects have tangibly improved living standards in underserved regions, from building rural bridges in the South Central provinces, to drilling clean water wells for communities suffering from drought and saltwater intrusion.

In times of natural disasters, we promptly assist affected families by repairing damaged homes, providing essential food, medicine, and shelter, ensuring people are safe from hunger, illness, and hardship.

We believe that poverty alleviation must start with livelihood creation. In addition to airport business, SASCO has expanded operations into regions like Long An and Phu Quoc, creating new job opportunities for local residents and contributing to sustainable regional development.

 

 

As part of the program, SASCO organized the “Ao am cho em” initiative, delivering 100 gift packages and winter coats to students of Xin Cai Semi-Boarding Primary School for Ethnic Minorities, Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province , the northernmost region of Vietnam.

QUALITY EDUCATION:

With a strong commitment to sustainable education for future generations, we have initiated scholarship programs such as “Uom Mam Xanh” and “Nang Buoc Em.” These projects aim to empower outstanding students to maintain their academic excellence year after year, while supporting underprivileged children to continue their education and reduce dropout rates.

 

CLIMATE SOLUTIONS:

  • SASCO pioneers in climate action as a member of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Plastic Waste Reduction Alliance. The company continues to take an active and responsible role in implementing programs that contribute to Vietnam’s sustainable development.
  • It has carried out various initiatives to reduce plastic waste, conserve energy, and prioritize the use of natural materials across its production and service supply chains.
  • SASCO has organized the “Stop Food Waste and Save Clean Water” campaign; the “Green Day – Green Life” tree planting event with 3,000 new trees in Da Lat City; and the Youth Union Camp under the theme “Green Buds of Happiness,” which planted 1,000 mangrove trees in the Binh Dai mangrove forest, Ben Tre. Thousands more trees are expected to be added in the following years.
  • The company has maintained a strong environmental compliance record with zero incidents or violations and continues to prioritize “green initiatives” proposed by its employees.

SASCO has launched the “Save Water - Save Food for Sustainable Planet” program. This initiative spreads the message of green living, encouraging the community to adopt a sustainable lifestyle by consuming and shopping green to protect the planet for future generations.

The "Greenday – Sunday " project with the participation of SASCO's Youth and Children, contributes to raising awareness about reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment.
